I Wonder Why....

...we're supposed to boil water for 20 minutes during a water advisory. How much water is supposed to be left after 20 mins of intense evaporation?
How big of a pan are we supposed to have to accomplish this?

why is your leg still up in the air? We're already on "do the hokey pokey and turn yourself around". Way past the "put your left leg in and shake it all about"

If you only boil the water for 19 minutes before drinking it, you will die.

If I boil it for 20 minutes there's nothing left.

ergo, it can't kill you.

I've always wondered who "they" are. "They" say a lot of important things that we take for granted.

Such as...."they" say not to swim for 20 minutes after eating or you'll get stomach cramps, drown and die. Or, was that just our parents not wanting us to barf in the pool?

It was the parents not wanting us to barf....that's what they say anyway.
