check the mouse settings, make sure you don't have the cursor disappearing while typing

Not sure what else it could be. I have the Logitech mouse also but can't see anything in the settings that would make it hide the cursor. Check to make sure the correct mouse is selected in the mouse control panel. If the old one is still there the drivers might conflict. I have the box checked to hide while typing but it doesn't hide LOL

I have noticed that if I take the focus away from my active window, for example, if I'm in a chat room and move to email, I have to click in the input line once the chatroom becomes active again. It doesn't automatically go there. You can set it to automatically go to the active field, but that causes other problems if you accidently hit enter.

this disappearing cursor issue happens in mid-sentence. i'll be typing along, in the chatroom or in e-mail, and it will suddenly disappear and my typing will stop. then i have to click in the box again for the cursor to reappear to be able to continue typing. it just happened now while i was typing this response! this has been happening for several months.

Ive been having the same problem. THought it was AOL but ithappens elsewhere if I'm using IE. I recently downloaded firefox at the suggestion of Bebo since it wasnt letting me order my friends list using IE. Works better with firefox, but I still prefer IE.
