I am watching "Boy Interrupted" right now. It's "A filmmaker-mother's heartbreaking film about the suicide of her 15-year-old son."

Actually, I will finish watching this tomorrow. I'll let you know if I like it.

ETA: Finished it and it was really good. Sad, obviously, but good.

Ganza Queen was another really good one. It's about a young woman who was accused of drug trafficking while on holiday in Bali. It is indeed a harrowing story.

I highly recommend it.

OMG! My favorite was "White Light, Black Rain" "The powerful recollections of survivors of the atomic bombs that leveled the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.

It is an amazing film.

Lima/BM, I was searching for documentaries on the Hiroshima for school and WLBR came up. I haven't seen it yet. Do you recommend all or some of it for 13 year olds?

It is extremely intense, but really REALLY good. There are interviews with many survivors of the bombings.

I love documentaries. Of the ones you mentioned the atomic bomb film interests me most.

Yeah, I think WNBR is going to be WAY too intense for your students, Nino. I just watched it again and it's pretty graphic.

But I think everyone should watch it. Maybe better for High School kids.

Yeah, Mr. Moon. Watch it if you can. It's on On Demand now. It's an HBO documentary.
