Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts Empty Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

I make a quick and easy baked chicken using boneless skinless chicken breasts, fresh not the frozen kind.
lightly oil a skillet and brown on both sides, just enough to sear. Then place on a foil line cookie sheet or jelly roll pan. sprinkle tops with bread crumbs, seasoned or unseasoned, your choice, and a pat of butter. Season as desired. I usually use little black pepper.
Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165 F.
I use a meat thermometer to ensure thorough cooking, but don't over cook as the chicken will dry out.

I usually serve this with a side of wild rice and a veggie.
