Pam says HI... and GO BUCKS!

Post by PamiSu392 on Tue 28 Jul 2009, 12:26 am

Hi, I'm Pam, a Registered Nurse from Columbus, oHIo. I work as a Physician Substitute in an FDA plasma donation center... and, yes, you can make good money donating your plasma! My hobbies include website design, camping, swimming, cats (I have 3) and dogs (I have 1), and the OSU BUCKEYES... oh, and CHATTING! I am passionate about my pets, and encourage you to adopt a rescued animal. There are so many strays looking for loving homes. You can catch me most any time of the day or night in the "Born in the 50s" chatroom on AOL. I'll see you there!

I've thought about donating my plasma but figured I'd be in there with homeless people and junkies -- am I wrong? Do "normal" people sell their plasma?

The FDA is extremely strict on the types of people who can donate plasma. Homeless persons and junkies are not allowed. Most of our donors are average people, like you and me, who are down on their luck, or just want a few 'extras' for their kids, etc. Regular donors can earn as much as $250/month... and they're saving lives because medicines are made from the plasma!
